So who am I?
I'm a 34-year old gamer, dreamer, husband and aspiring writer. Well, I am more than that, but lets not delve down into the deep "me" just yet ;)

So what makes me a "Gamer"?
Well, I've been a big fan and an avid player of games since the age of 6. I started early with tabletop roleplaying games, a friend of mine's big brother was a game master and was kind enough to let us kiddies play with him and his friends, and I got hooked right away! I'm also part of the Nintendo generation, and luckily enough my dad was into new technology so I had a chance to get my own game stations during my childhood.
My first console was a Vectrex, I remember the Christmas I got it, I got angry with my parents that I got that, because I had wished for a Nintendo, but I quickly "forgave" them and really got into it. But a year later I bought a Nintendo even so.
Then the Amiga 500 came into my life and I more or less left consoles in my rearview mirror, with a computer I could do more than just play games and I especially liked writing and composing on it.

Dreamer?
Well, let's just say I tend to have unrealistic, over the moon kind of ideas about my life. Far far away from reality, but there's this little voice in the back in my head that keeps saying "Just go for it".
I've had many jobs during my lifetime, some I have fitted into, others, not so much. But it's not until now, that I lost my latest job, that I have begun some actual "soul searching" regarding my professional life.
I know I want to write, I especially love writing literature and philosophy. But how to get there professionally? How did any writer manage to live of their writing, and how did they get there?
Second to Writing I would love to be able to live of Streaming, but I can't find a niche that would lure people to check me out when playing games.

That's right, some how I managed to land myself the perfect wife. We've been together for ten years this year, so in that sense I'm living the dream :D
She supports my dreams, she is my day when I need to stay awake, and my night when I need to sleep. I love her so much.

Writer?
Well, I told you I was a dreamer right? Well, I dream about being able to write for a living. I know, it might be a silly notion, and you might even tell me so, but I can't let it go. I recently had a project on Kickstarter where I tried to get attention to a roleplaying game I'm writing. It wasn't successfully funded, but I will keep working on it, because I still have hopes of having it published.
So there you have it, a little bit about me and my dreams. I will try to keep future posts a bit shorter so you don't fall asleep before reaching this far ;)
